Canon R5 8K: Grand Central Terminal at Night

Yesterday was one of those days where I was feeling super drained from the week. This video isn’t my typical edit but something more on the peaceful/ambient side. I grabbed my camera went to Grand Central Terminal to capture some shots around 11pm. This is my first time dabbling with 8K and the workflow was pretty crazy. I didn’t experience any overheating and ended up capturing about 100 gigs of footage. Imported the files onto my SSD where I created proxy files on FCPX. After reverting back to the original files to export my 2019 iMac ran out of memory while rendering. I finished editing around 7am and uploaded it to YouTube where I waited for the 8K option to appear. It’s now 2PM and I can finally share this video!
