Live: Navalny’s body arrives at Moscow church for funeral

Credit: Youtube/@Alexei Navalny Alexei Navalny’s body has arrived at a church on the outskirts of Moscow, with the Russian opposition leader’s funeral expected to start at 2pm local time (11am GMT). Mourners lining the street chanted “Navalny” in tribute to the arch-critic of Vladimir Putin, who died last month at the age of 47 in an Arctic penal colony. A sizable riot police force has been dispatched to the area, and snipers have been positioned on the rooftops of the city. Dozens of police vehicles are stationed near the church.
