Nico - Ulalume

NICO reading part of the poem ULALUME by EDGAR ALLAN POE. Music is by spanish band NEUROMIUM. The clip I edited uses sequences out of LUCIFER RISING by KENNETH ANGER starring MARIANNE FAITHFUL. I like the idea of Marianne in a clip to Nico-music, as she herself wrote a song called “Song for Nico“. Thinking of the pictures of Nico on her DESERTSHORE-album, I think the egyptian desert-setting of my Ulalume-clip suits Nico, even more, as Nico was called “Sphinx of ice“.
