SVT: How I Was Diagnosed and How I’m Doing Now | The Ordinary Girl

This week is World Heart Rhythm Week, which is a week that spreads awareness and encourages detection of irregular heart rhythms. So I thought this was the perfect time for me to share MY story, of how I was diagnosed with Supraventricular Tachycardia; also commonly known as SVT. Although this is something very serious to me, and very close to my heart (no pun intended), I did try to make the video as entertaining as possible. DO NOT use this video for medical advice. I dealt with “heart hiccups“ for most of my life, but always brushed them off, because besides the occasional skip & flip, I felt perfectly fine. I did this for many years, until one afternoon when I ended up in the hospital.. and everything changed.
