London Buskers AKA London Street Scenes (1910-1919)

London Buskers (title is erroneous - footage is street scenes in London during tube closure - ?). Crowds walking along pavement and street outside Criterion Grill Room in Piccadilly. Lots of men in uniform. The entrance to the tube / underground seems to be closed - policemen stand by the grill gate. Good street scenes. People crossing road while double-decker bus or tram with ’Schweppes’ advertising on side goes by. People push around back of tram when it stops and wait for people to get off before boarding. Policeman stands near platform (herding people on or off?). High angle L/S panning across The Criterion Grill Room and Restaurant and on to the Criterion Theatre (towards Piccadilly Circus). Lots of people walking along street; traffic going by. This is good footage. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
