Graham Payn In “In An Old-Fashioned Town“ (1932)

Full story title reads: “and now ’Pathe Pictorial’ again presents the South African Boy Soprano, Graham Payn in ’In An Old-Fashioned Town’.“ Graham stands in the foreground of a drawing room setting. His piano accompanist wears a lovely white dress with large sleeves. Graham wears a black jacket and waistcoat, white shirt, black tie and trousers a slightly lighter colour than the jacket and waistcoat. Various views of Graham as he sings. He is very sweet in this one and smiles. Seems more relaxed than has done in earlier performances for the Pictorial. Various scenic shots of country cottages are intercut with Graham’s performance - only a short montage. Note: Graham Payn in later life was to become long time partner of Noel Coward.
