Donald Trump said he was “entitled” to make personal attacks on Kamala Harris after he was urged to “reset” his campaign amid poll numbers showing him trailing in swing states. Vivek Ramaswamy, a former Republican presidential hopeful, said it was a “missed opportunity” not to spend more time attacking Ms Harris’s policy record after Trump called her “stupid” and commented repeatedly on her appearance.
