This is the longplay of the game Anett Futatabi (translation: Anett’s Return), the final part of a game trilogy that also includes Earnest Evans and El Viento. The game was released exclusively for Sega CD/Mega CD only in Japan in 1993. Unlike the previous games, which are platform games, this is a beat’n up. Set in the same fictional universe as Earnest Evans and El Viento, the story takes place two years after El Viento, and concludes the story of Annet and Earnest. Zigfried’s true motives are finally revealed as well. Being rescued from a certain sacrifice by father figure Earnest Evans, Annet travels across Europe and encounters a local sect that wants her special pendant. After an attempted ambush in the sect’s castle, she barely escapes, and begins another quest to protect the world from destruction. Like Earnest Evans, Anett Futatabi is also a bad game. The cutscenes and voiceovers are good, the graphics are good by Sega CD standards, the gameplay is terrible (but much less worse than Earnest Evans) and there are no effects on special attacks. That was the last game in the Earnest Evans trilogy. I hope you enjoy the video.
