I love the history of anime. I grew up in the 90s where I watched Pokemon every weekend, watched Digimon, CCS. I saw anime go into the 2000s and saw the animation get cleaner and move in ways that blew my mind. Now in the 2010s I’ve seen anime reach even greater heights in both it’s animation, story-telling and fans. But I look back and I see where it started on TV, where anime began to walk, that was with Astro Boy, Gegege no Kitaro, Speed Racer and few others. They were rough, simple, but incredibly charming. 70s was full of new technology and defying all odds, 80s was full of flight and adventures in places never reached before.
