The Tatar Language at Your Fingertips

Online Talk Given by the Staff of the Republican Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired of the Republic of Tatarstan. You will get acquainted with the history of publishing books in special formats for people who are visually-impaired, the experience of introducing audio-aid into the national language in theaters of the republic, with socio-cultural and educational projects aimed at preserving, developing and popularizing the Tatar language, and providing access to the national cultural heritage. You will see publications printed in Braille, “talking“ and tactile (hand-made) books, and tactile graphic manuals written in the languages of the Russian Federation.
