Buy Now: The Super Spring Theory is the result of SubDecay’s quest to create the finest spring reverb simulator available, capturing the feel and tone of a classic tube-driven spring ’verb in compact pedal format. They started by overhauling the JFET preamp, working to enhance its tube-like dynamics, and fine-tuning the way the Super Spring Theory interacts with a wide range of guitar pickups, effects loops, and other pedals. Subdecay also added new controls, with a toggle switch for turning tails on or off, separate knobs for reverb and dry signal levels, and a flexible tone control for toning down the ambience, or cranking it up for maximum drip. There’s also a bonus room reverb setting, for anything from subtle ambience to nearly endless cavernous decay. The Subdecay Super Spring Theory was designed from the ground up with unique, proprietary reverb algorithms, and was built by hand right here in Oregon, USA.
