BATMAN: THE LONG HALLOWEEN PART 1: Opening Scene (EXCLUSIVE)

DC’s acclaimed comic book story Batman: The Long Halloween has just unveiled the opening scene of the first half of its animated adaptation, pitting Bruce Wayne into a shadowy meeting. In Carmine Falcone’s penthouse office overlooking Gotham City, the crime lord evokes the relationship between Bruce’s parents and the Falcone family in an effort to garner Bruce’s support with his syndicate. A stoic Bruce is more focused on the cityscape than his host, intoning that he believes in Gotham City. The Long Halloween adapts the comic book story of the same name, created by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale and originally published in 1996. The first part will be released this June, with the second installment completing the adaptation’s story slated for digital release in July.
