How to read chest CT: mediastinal anatomy

MEDIASTINAL ANATOMY In this video we do something I do every time I look at any CT chest with contrast, and that is following the contrast through the arm into the mediastinum. By doing so I can be sure to assess all of the major structures within the mediastinum and it reduces the chance that I miss something within these structures. I can’t count the number of times I’ve picked up on incidental pulmonary emboli for example. This is the latest in the series of videos on basic CT interpretation, make sure to subscribe to be notified when the next video is released!
