“Street photography is creative freedom“ | A Day with Chris Harrison

Order with Saal Digital here: Chris Harrison first discovered photography in 1987. At 16 years old he saw Elliot Erwitt’s photo, ‘Great Dane Legs, Boots and Chihuahua’, in a magazine. It lit a flame that started his photography journey. Throughout the 90s Chris did lots of small photographic projects, mainly around London and also some travel and backpacking trips too. However, for about 15 years from 2001 onwards he did very little photography for himself. Whilst he still worked with many photographers on commercial design projects, Chris spent his time and energy mainly dedicated to running his own design studio, starting a family and being a hands-on dad to his two daughters. That all changed in 2016 during a family camping holiday in France which was, by chance, a short distance away from Arles.
