The Prodigy - LIVE AT T IN THE PARK, SCOTLAND - 10th July 2005

The Prodigy live at T in the Park, Scotland 2005 T in the Park 2005 is a weekend music festival which took place from 9–10 July 2005 in Balado, Kinross. Tickets for the 2005 event sold out in record time, just four days after going on sale, five months in advance of the festival. The event saw around 69,000 people a day watching more than 170 bands over 10 stages. It was named best festival in that year’s UK Festival Awards, beating the Glastonbury Festival for the first time. The Prodigy are an English electronic music band from Braintree, Essex, formed in 1990 by keyboardist and songwriter Liam Howlett. The line-up of the band has included MC and vocalist Maxim, dancer and vocalist Keith Flint (until his death in March 2019), dancer and live keyboardist Leeroy Thornhill (who left to pursue a solo career in 1999), and dancer and vocalist Sharky (1990-1991). The Prodigy are credited as pioneers of the breakbeat-influenced genre big beat, which achieved mainstream popularity in the 1990s.
