Ep 5 “A Very Electric SiXmas“ album

Seasons greetings and festive cheer to you. As it’s Christmas I thought I’d check out a Christmas album by the band Electric Six. That’s right, the rockers who brought you “Danger, High Voltage“ and “Gay Bar“ successfully completed their fifth crowdfunder campaign to release a Christmas album. Us hardcore fans threw money at them and just hoovered it up. There’s covers of carols, traditional songs along with rock and pop songs. There’s even an original or two. 18 festive tracks with that Electric Six spin we all know and love. I take a look at the tracks that work for me and the ones that don’t. I look at the history behind each song and the people who created the original versions. If you missed out on the original Kickstarter campaign then this might be your only chance to hear samples from it.
