Dizzy Man’s Band - The Opera, the Opera (Austrian TV, 1975)

Dizzy Man’s Band was a band from the Netherlands, active from 1969 until 1983. They had their first hit “Tickatoo“ in 1970. Many more hits followed in the years to come, e.g. “A Matter of Facts“, “Jumbo“, “The Show“, “Mickey Mouse“, “Mony the Phony“, “Turkey Turkey“, “Everyday in Action“ and “The Opera“. The band’s founding members were: Jacques Kloes (vocals), Dirk van der Horst (guitar), Dirk Buysman (bass), Karl Kalf (trumpet, horn and cello), Herman Smak (keyboards), Joop Tromp (drums), Klaas Versteeg (flute and saxophone) Spotlight was a music show for the youth, which was aired between 1968 and 1978 by the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF). It was the counterpart to the shows “Beat Club“ or “Musikladen“ in Germany.
