Ab routine for dancers - Jonas Brothers - Sucker

Ab exercises aren’t the favourite part of my dancers in dance class. That’s why I turn my ab exercises into a fun “abs dance routine“. Also perfect for your workout at home! Here’s what we do: Start in plank position 4x8: tap your shoulders 4x8: up up down down 2x8: plank on elbows: tap R leg up (slow count of 8) 2x8: plank on elbows: tap L leg up (slow count of 8) last 2 counts get back onto hands 1x8: mountain climber (start R) 1x8: rotating mountain climber (R knee to left elbow) 1x8: mountain climber (start L) 1x8: rotating mountain climber twist (L knee to right elbow) 1x8: turn around onto your back 4x8: sit up up in 3 counts, down in one 4x8: russian twist (4 times slow - 6 times fast) 2x 4x8: earthquake (first 2x8, hands in front - second 2x8 hands in fifth position) 4x8: elbow to knee crunch 4x8: REST Put your legs up and your hands underneath your lower back for support 4x8: criss cross legs down and up in fifth position 4x8: Leg drop, scissor legs 4x8: legs up: alternate crunches up and crunches tapping foot to the side Outro: slowly lower legs Hope you have fun!
