Apple’s OEMs Exit India, Foxconn Learns Hard Lesson!

Apple and Foxconn’s efforts to shift manufacturing away from China have suffered a setback, as Apple’s foundry Wistron was forced to sell its iPhone OEM factory in India to the Tata Group. Despite entering India with high hopes and determination, Wistron’s Indian factory struggled with employee shutdowns and fires, and only employed about 10,000 people. The interest shown in the factory by the Tata Group is seen as unwelcome news for Apple and Foxconn, raising concerns about the difficulties of setting up a foundry in India. Foxconn’s own development in India has also faced challenges. “China Focus“ is a YouTube channel created to provide current events and pop culture headlines from you can get to know a more real China through my video. #ChineseNews #MadeInChina#ChinaFocus Thanks for your watching and subscribing.
