Tense | Elektron Digitakt & MicroFreak Synth Jam

Another Digitakt jam, this time sending midi to the Arturia MicroFreak. Been using this little a lot recently, it’s got incredible depth for a budget synth. I loaded mine with the ‘Plasir Pads’ presets from the Arturia website. One of the MicroFreak’s best attributes is its modulation matrix, there is a bottomless pit of mod possibilities and so it does moving and pads/strings extremely well. In addition, the arpeggio section is flexible and easily sculpted using the envelopes. In the video I have the MicroFreak output going through a ‘Fender Marine Layer’ reverb.
