Quick feet help football players develop balance, rhythm and coordination while being a crucial part of the Buzz portion of Heads Up Tackling.
By using agility ladders, cones, yard markers, tape or other items that distinguish space and distance, coaches can set up simple drills to teach players how to take short, choppy steps that keep them under control.
The goal is to transfer power from the glutes to the balls of the feet while closing in on would-be ball-carriers.
