’Get to the truth’: CIA looking into COVID-19 origin allegations

The Central Intelligence Agency is looking into allegations made to Congress about several CIA analysts being paid off to change their position on the origins of COVID-19. Former senior adviser to secretary of state Mary Kissel joined Sky News host Sharri Markson to discuss the allegations. Ms Kissel said she can’t speak to the “veracity of the whistleblower’s claims” but she does think the situation is “the democratic process at work”. “This is exactly what the House Oversight Committee should be doing – it’s not the only committee that is examining the actions of communist China,” she said. “I believe that we’ll get to the truth of what actually happened – not just inside the intelligence agencies but also agencies like health and human services and NIH.”
