Titles read: ’THE GRANITE MEN OF POLAND’. Klesow, Poland. Several shots show men working at a stone quarry. They put dynamite powder into the ground, then a warning klaxon sounds and the men run to take cover. A man presses a detonator and a huge chunk of the rock explodes and falls to the ground. The men work with drills and hammers to split the rocks, then the shapers smoothes the rock into blocks that will be used in road making in Galicia and Upper Silesia.
