Full title reads: “TEN MILES HIGH - Dr. & Mrs. Jean Piccard’s trip to stratosphere.“ Detroit, Unite States of America (USA). Dr Jean Felix Piccard and wife Dr Jeanette Piccard getting ready for their balloon flight to stratosphere - or disaster. Dr. Piccard and wife seen before the flight - at night. Large balloon being filled up with helium. Mr and Mrs Piccard enter the capsule. Balloon rising. Large crowd looking on. Balloon flying off. Mr & Mrs Piccard, surrounded by crowds, standing in front of the wreckage of the balloon. They crashed about 200 miles away at Cadiz. Several shots of recked balloon.
