Full title reads: “TEN MILES HIGH - Dr. & Mrs. Jean Piccard’s trip to stratosphere.“ Detroit, Unite States of America (USA). Dr Jean Felix Piccard and wife Dr Jeanette Piccard getting ready for their balloon flight to stratosphere - or disaster. Dr. Piccard and wife seen before the flight - at night. Large balloon being filled up with helium. Mr and Mrs Piccard enter the capsule. Balloon rising. Large crowd looking on. Balloon flying off. Mr & Mrs Piccard, surrounded by crowds, standing in front of the wreckage of the balloon. They crashed about 200 miles away at Cadiz. Several shots of recked balloon. Nice shot of Mr and Mrs Piccard smiling into camera. Voiceover says that although the balloon is destroyed, the valuable equipment inside the capsule is undamaged.
