Alex Rudinger - Whitechapel - “Anticure“

Despite the fact that I’m no longer with Whitechapel, I’m still immensely proud of ’KIN’. So awhile back I recorded a few more play-throughs for some of my favorite tunes from the album - while the material was still relatively ’fresh’ for me. Here’s the third (of 4) - “Anticure“. Anticure’s definitely a vocal-driven song with more of a ’Rock’ vibe, which I guess is fairly different relative to Whitechapel’s back-catalogue. But truthfully, I think it’s one of the best songs Phil’s ever written vocally. He absolutely killed it, & it’s one of my favorites from the album. Drum-wise, although it’s a bit less ’tech’ than some people might expect (again, relative to what Whitechapel’s known for drum-wise), I really love how the drums compliment & work with the song.
