Giovanni Gabrieli - Canzon à 12 in echo (3 choirs) Venice 1608

In this movie I wanted to show the Glory of Venice, in music, architecture and arts and also celebrate 400 years of Giovanni Gabrieli in history (1612 - 2012) with such a magnificent performance of the surprising Canzon à 12 in Echo (which actually contains three choirs) by Musica Fiata Köln under direction of Roland Wilson. The pictures were taken by myself in Venice in the year 2011. In the last frames of the video you can actually see Giovanni Gabrieli’s tomb located in the Chiesa di Santo Stefano.
