In May this year (2015) I gave my first masterclass at ACM in Guildford. At the end of the session I chose to perform my interpretation of ’Stengah’ by Meshuggah.
They’re a band I’ve listened to and had great respect for, for years and they have taught me a lot about seamlessly marrying odd time signatures and groove. Tomas Haake is one of my top influences - I hope I’ve done this some justice. I only had a day to rehearse so there’s a few blips here and there.
Thank you to ACM for having me and Kuba Mlec
