Russia: 1000s mark anniversary of Nemtsov murder with march in Moscow

Thousands took to the streets of Moscow on Saturday, to mark the anniversary of the assassination of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov in the Russian capital. Huge crowds gathered at Pushkin square and marched to Academician Sakharov Avenue. Activists in the front rows carried a huge banner with an inscription reading “Murdered for the truth,“ alongside other banners dedicated to the opposition figure.
