President Erdogan was welcomed in Hungary with an official ceremony

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was welcomed with an official ceremony by his Hungarian counterpart Katalin Novak in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, where he came for official visits. Erdoğan, who was welcomed at the Heroes’ Square, greeted the ceremonial guard in Hungarian after the anthems of the two countries were performed. Within the scope of the ceremony, Erdoğan laid a wreath at the Monument of the Unknown Soldier. Following the military parade, the two leaders presented their delegations to each other. Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, Presidential Advisor Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç, Turkish Ambassador to Budapest Gülşen Karanis Ekşioğlu were present at the ceremony. After the ceremony, Erdoğan went to Sandor Palace for a meeting with his Hungarian counterpart.
