The Prince (1925)

Item title reads - The Prince, finding that Mrs George - bereaved of two sons in war - had no ticket for Cathedral - gave orders that she was to be admitted. Llandaff Cathedral, Wales. M/S of Prince Edward, Prince of Wales, talking to Mrs George and nodding, he looks around as if to summon someone. M/S as he walks up to the war memorial and lays a wreath then salutes. M/S as he walks up to two men by the memorial and talks to them. M/S as the clergymen walk past the crowd. M/S as Welsh Guards march past the Prince who salutes. M/S of him stood by a band. He walks down the line of Guards and veterans and inspects them. M/S as he speaks to Mrs George again. M/S as he enters the arch to the Cathedral. M/S as he enters the Cathedral, other Guards take their hats off as they follow him. M/S as the Prince walks across grass with clergymen, others carry the wreath. Note: there is a yellow tinted version entitled ’Cymru Am Byth’ which has some of the same footage in G 1244 on *PM0432* The latter
