Shortly after meeting in 1999, Zain Bhikha and Dawud Wharnsby who would go on to become lifelong friends, composed a nasheed as a Dhikr and Praise for Our Creator, which is commonly known as the third Kalimah. Zain and Dawud’s English and Arabic melody of Glory Be To Allah remains one of their most masterful duets. The song first appeared on the album ‘Faith’ in 2001 and was later remastered for the artist’s 20th anniversary ‘Best Of’ compilation ‘Songs of a Soul’. It remains one of Zain’s personal favourites.
