V10 BMW E30 M3 | raw sound

One of the stand out cars of this years’ Geelong Revival Motoring Festival was Bill Hamilton’s 1988 BMW E30 M3. A sought after car in stock form, Bill has retro-fitted a later model BMW S85 V10 5L engine as found in the E60 M5 & E63 M6. The odd-firing 90-degree V10 engine sounds fantastic. Best time of the day was a run. The 1/4 mile sprint is unique in that it is not performed in a straight line but around a long right hand bend with a very short braking area.
