John Michael Carter

American Impressionist painter John Michael Carter was born in Chicago. His first art teacher was his father, who was a famous commercial artist. In 1968, John Michael Carter entered the American Academy of Art. After graduating from the academy, he taught for a while, and then moved to Los Angeles, where he participated in the art center of the college of design. At the same time, he studied on his own and received a diploma in painting.
