Tiny Hawk (Accipiter superciliosus)

Meet the aptly named Tiny Hawk, one of the world’s smallest raptors, whose favorite foods are Amazonian hummingbirds and small songbirds. This is the twelfth installment in a series of video journals by Dr. Jason Weckstein documenting the 2007 joint expedition between The Field Museum and Brazil’s Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi to survey Amazonian birds along the Rio Japurá and its tributaries.
