Thousands join rally in Central London against “two tier policing”

Footage of thousands marching to Parliament Square, Westminster to demonstrate against “two-tier policing”. The concept of “two tier policing“ supposes that policing of a population differers dependent on race, religion or political persuasion. The rally called for the resignation of Met Police chief Sir Mark Rowley for presiding over what demonstrators are calling London’s ’two-tier policing’ system. A statement on an affiliated petition claimed to oppose biased policing practices’ while ’demanding accountability from those in power’. The petition does not declare how many people have signed it. At one point during the demo, a man in a balaclava infiltrated the demo and was bundled away by police officers. The Met Police said that two arrests had been made in the vicinity of Parliament Square - one for ’drunk and disorderly behaviour and assaulting an emergency worker’ and the second relating to an ’incident where a woman was subjected to racial abuse’ This video is being exclusively managed by Newsflare.
