Our Waltz Routine Figure Names | Advanced Waltz Choreography

We’ve decided to bring you behind the scenes with a little analysis of our very own Waltz routine. In this video we’ll be running you through the figure names and some body positions we use in our advanced waltz routine. “In today’s video we will be analysing our very own Waltz routine and explaining all of the figures that we dance. I’ll do my best to keep up with our dancing. We start off with a Hover action turning to a Promenade, dancing a Chasse and a Natural Turn. Now a Running Spin Turn followed by a Chasse Roll. Dancing then into some Natural Pivots into a bit of a Running Spin Turn again. Runs outside partner, Toe Pivot into a Quick Open Reverse with a Slip Pivot and a Telespin action into a Developpe, Reverse Pivot, Slip Pivot and Contra Check with a Rhonde for the lady.
