Rima Hassan, fondatrice et Présidente de l’Observatoire des Camps de Réfugiés (OCR), une ONG qui agit de façon indépendante pour informer, enquêter et sensibiliser sur l’administration et la gestion des camps de réfugiés dans le monde. Réfugiée palestinienne née dans le camp de Neirab en Syrie, elle est arrivée en France à 10 ans, elle a obtenu une maitrise en Droit international et Organisations internationales à l’Université Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne. C’est après avoir effectué deux années de thèse portant sur le droit applicable dans les camps de réfugiés qu’elle fonde l’OCR en septembre 2019. Rima Hassan combine la Présidence de l’OCR avec celles de Co-directrice du Séminaire droit international et comparé en Méditerranée et Moyen-Orient de l’iReMMO. Elle est aussi membre du Comité d’experts de l’Observatoire de l’intégration et l’accès aux droits des personnes migrantes d’ISM interprétariat. A Palestinian refugee born in the Neirab camp in Syria, she arrived in France at the age of 10, where she obtained a Master’s degree in International Law and International Organisations at the Université Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne. After completing a two-year thesis on the law applicable in refugee camps, she founded OCR in September 2019. Rima Hassan combines the Presidency of the OCR with that of Co-Director of the iReMMO Seminar on International and Comparative Law in the Mediterranean and Middle East.
