The best version ever of Gimme Shelter on Youtube is Live at the Spectrum, Philadelphia in 1972 . With all due respect to the Lisa Fischer years, a lot of the versions on YouTube are in the Rolling Stones’ later years and a bit too showbiz for my tastes. They don’t capture the classic period of the band at the height of their powers.
