Riots in France after right-wing EU election victory

They warned us there would be violence if the ‘far-right’ were elected. They were right. Riots erupted across France after the recent European elections, with left-wing activists taking to the streets to protest. What were they protesting? Intact windows and uncovered faces, by the look of things. Strasbourg, Bordeaux, Nantes and Paris all saw unrest, with police in some areas forced to use tear gas to stop the protesters from throwing any more furniture through café frontages. You know, to stop the far-right from turning violent.
