A masterful comedian and a skilled actor, he lived his life at a wonderfully frantic pace. Sure, he had some problems, including well-known struggles with drugs and alcohol, but that didn’t make him at all unusual among his Hollywood peers. What no one realised though, including Williams himself, was that he was also suffering from a rare degenerative brain disease. It’s incredibly painful, but his wife, Susan Schneider Williams, and his closest friends including Australian director, George Miller, now know why Robin took his own life seven years ago, and they want the world to know too.
