Edited by Alexander Solovyev: Véronique took this photo in September 2018. She was there with her 2 daughters and their boyfriends. One of them was on holiday in France, at home. She lives in Montreal, and spent a few days in Annecy with her future husband. It was a very beautiful day, and they walked around and enjoyed being together. September is good to visit Annecy, the weather is cool and there are not as many tourists. Annecy is at the east of France, in the Alps, near Geneva (80 km), Chamonix and the Mont Blanc (90 km). Annecy is a wonderful town with a lake, mountains, and a very old city center with a castle, small roads and houses from 1700s. On the photo, we see a short river by the name of The Thiou.
