Yavanna, áva hehta eldalyar! - the elven song to the Valië of Earth and Nature by Morniënna

It is the summer of 2019 and the elves of Caras Neldorath are about to return to their forest fortifications. For the first time, Lendor will travel to this place, where the elves defend their interests against all kinds of evil. But when he begins his journey there, he and others receive a vision of Yavanna. “Why have you forgotten me?”, she demands to know. Lendor has not forgotten her. He knows nothing of what happened before and so the words of the vision offend him. Yet, how can he be angry with a Valië? In his defiance and defence, he swiftly writes a verse, a melody, and a simple accompaniment. Lendor is determined to form a choir upon his arrival and perform proof that Yavanna never was forgotten. From the singers he finds originates the ‘Yomenië Lindaron’ choir still heard to this day in Caras Neldorath. The song is both praise and lament.
