ALEXEY MOLCHANOV -80m UNDER ICE FREEDIVING WORLD RECORD

Alexey Molchanov set the new under ice freediving world record. The dive was 2 minutes and 54 seconds long. The record was set at the Lake Baikal in Russia. It’s the largest freshwater lake by volume in the world, containing 22-23% of the world’s fresh surface water. The ice was about 90cm thick at the time of the dive.
