Philth has been working with Bredren for many years and were the only act Philth considered for a remix of “The Teacher“ - a stand-out tune from 2020’s Moments in Time LP (Part 2). As one of the only remixes the Belgian trio have ever done, this very special tune gets an incredible makeover courtesy of Philth’s long-term friends and collaborators, the multi-talented Bredren. The vinyl-exclusive “Majesty VIP“ is a classic techstep, Tramen and Reese reworking cooked up in Craggz’ analogue studio - a taster of what to come from the forthcoming Battery & Philth EP on Dispatch. “Colour Blind“ is a true dub from the vaults, written alongside Survival & Script in the early days of their now widely celebrated SCAR project. Having spent five years as a dub and thought never to see a full release, with a brand new mixdown it makes the perfect addition to the Dispatch Dubplate series, aiming to celebrate those lost tracks and exclusive dubs. Two solo productions complete the release - “The Fear“, a tense, dark roller, written By Philth as an attempt to channel anxiety that has been bringing tension to the dancefloor ever since, and “Deja Vu“, a track that combines proper live breaks with a simple, progressive bassline that grows and growls throughout.
