Snow Storm at the Hut (episode 39)

The roof is a critical part of a shelter, house or building. A roof traps in heat and protects the interior from rain. Without a roof survival in the wilderness would be much more challenging. In this video, the roof of my adobe hut finally gets the test I have been waiting for. A snow storm arrives in the evening and dumps several inches of snow to cover the desert landscape with a heavenly white blanket. In these conditions it is important to be prepared.
