2021 - Aiki Jinja Taisai [Mitsuteru Ueshiba]

Held on 29th April 2021, the Aiki Jinja Taisai is one of the most important event held by the Aikikai World Headquarters. Commemorating the passing of the founder - Morihei Ueshiba as well as for the first Doshu - Kisshomaru Ueshiba. The event usually sees the gathering of a few hundreds practitioners (Japanese and international participants). However, due to the unique circumstances that the world is currently in, this year the event was one of a much significantly smaller magnitude.
