Pulse and Anxiety from Fear and Hunger, but it’s breakcore

Pulse and Anxiety also known as PUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMM Original track - Bandcamp link - Soundcloud link - Didn’t expect this one to work well with breakcore but it does and I’m glad. This was actually second time when I heard a song and thought “Hey I want to turn it into breakcore“. First time was Crystal Peak from Hollow Knight. Warning, there will be Fear and Hunger and Fear and Hunger 2: Termina spoilers below. A bit about my Kaiser experience. I was kinda confused with all that white bunker stuff because of how similar it was to the A and B endings route from the first part. I almost ran out of recourses and my party was doing decent only because of ring of wraiths and betel’s stone I found before. Without those accessories, my team would lose mind and die in a fight. The white bunker had very tense atmosphere, I felt like those white walls were going to smash me in a minute or two. Also enemies would be scary if I didn’t have black orb and a 12-gauge trenchgun loaded with ton of ammo. The deeper I walked into the bunker the bigger my tension grew. And then, after running through countless white corridors and killing many enemies, I met the tank. The way it killed me with a single charge was like a slap waking me from my slumber. My overpowered character couldn’t do anything against that organic death machine. But I came back. And died again. After few attempts, I finally defeated that monster. Don’t remember how exactly but anyway. And after proceeding, I met the Kaiser. At that point I already realized who he was all this time. In the first part, the first ending I got was ending C-II. I tried to get the C-I ending in that run but that final boss was too strong for me and my single half dead party member. But everything was different now. I had full party, overpowered gear and a bunch of healing items. The Kaiser was a pretty tough boss but I could defeat him without much effort, as I thought during the first phase. And then he entered the second phase. Soundtrack started playing its most intense part and he used black orb that almost killed my character, leaving me with less than 10 hp. Oh god how shocked I was. “So this is not the end huh“. To be honest, the Kaiser and the tank impressed me much more than the final boss. Like, the tank is a literal organic killing machine that can one shot me if I’m unlucky enough and the Kaiser is that guy who I couldn’t kill in game’s first part. And who is that final boss? And what does that ending mean? What the hell just happened? Well, at least some of contestants survived. Sadly my party didn’t. (small update, now i know a bit more about the logic and the ending so these words are more like about the way i felt at that moment) #breakcore #fearandhunger
