Combat and medical training of contract military personnel at the Western Military District training ground In the Voronezh region, intensive training is conducted under the guidance of experienced instructors from among the participants in the special military operation. The main issues in the training of each serviceman are practicing self-help tasks, methods of evacuation to the ‘gray’ zone, where one is provided with pre-hospital medical care from the first echelon of wearable medical equipment. Also, special attention is paid to the psychological preparation of military personnel, correct assessment of the degree of injury, the use of means to stop bleeding, the application of splints and pressure bandages for the possibility of further transportation and evacuation.
