If you’ve had a COVID test in LA, you likely got it at Dodger Stadium, the former largest free testing site in the United States. What you may not know is that this was all facilitated by CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort), a non-profit organization founded by Sean Penn and Ann Lee. CORE has gone above and beyond, working tirelessly (without government aid) six days a week for eight months straight as first responders to make sure everyone has equal access to COVID testing, and now vaccines. CORE is actively mobilizing their efforts to help reach people in our communities that can’t make it to vaccination sites and they need our help!
