London a ‘safer city’ than Berlin, Madrid and Paris, Sadiq Khan says in mayoral campaign launch

Sadiq Khan has claimed that London is a safer city than Paris, Berlin, Madrid and Barcelona. The Labour mayor made the claim during his official campaign launch for the 2024 election. However he cautioned that while he is happy with this record, there is always work to be done to make London’s streets safer.
